Our wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mary Anne Koller Andersen passed away on July 24, 2024, at her home in Cedar City, UT. She was born on April 15, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Waldo H. and Bernice Smith Koller. She married Leslie LeGrand Andersen on July 18, 1963, in Salt Lake City, UT. Together they had three wonderful daughters, Polly, Nancy and Amy. 

Mary Anne had a master’s in English literature and was a piano teacher in the music department at SUU. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Loved reading, quilting, going to the theater, running, book clubs and of course all things piano. Enjoyed giving service to her community and the arts. She was a world traveler, and her favorite place in Utah was Zions National Park.

Mary Anne is survived by her husband L. LeGrand Anderson of Cedar City, UT. Her daughters; Polly (James E.) Williams, II of Las Vegas, NV, Nancy Wolfgang of Loveland, CO and Amy (Heath Koch) Morrey of Eagle Mountain, UT. Her sisters; Karoline “Tiny” (Jim) Braden of Salt Lake City, UT, Kim (Steve (deceased) Butler of Salt Lake City, UT, Keri (Mark) Samuels of Liberty Corner, NJ and Kristin (Brad) Nielson of Wilson, WY. Along with 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Mesa Hills Ward building located at 1925 W. 320 S., Cedar City, UT. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary (190 N. 300 W., Cedar City, UT.) On Saturday the viewing will be at the Church prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
