Bailey Cole Bow passed away on October 29th, 2024 at 1:36 a.m. while being in the care of the wonderful staff at Cedar Health & Rehabilitation in Cedar City, Utah. He was born on July 7th, 1998 in Cedar City, Utah to his mother, Edurine Shawnee Kanosh & his father, Luther William Bow Jr. He was raised in St. George, Utah by his aunt Jana Gayle Kanosh-John, who he called “Mother” as well, then moved back to Cedar City for the last part of his childhood and attended Cedar High School, where he met the love of his life & the mother of his children, Sienna Tom.

Bailey was a proud member of the Koosharem Band of Southern-Paiutes and was raised with traditional Native-American values. He frequently attended Pow-Wow’s and other cultural events. He was a machine operator at GenPak. Music was a passion of his that would ignite his happiness & allowed him to vibe with friends and make new ones. He loved to hike and explore the outdoors & be one with nature. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family, whether that meant kicking it with his aunties or just being a dad and enjoying moments spent with his kids. He was truly loved by a large number of the community, which was seen in his last couple of days we had shared with him. Though he was naturally a shy person, once he allowed himself to be open with you, he’d show you that he was the most genuine, kind person you’d ever meet. He never liked to smile in pictures much, but when he did, it brought light to the darkest of times. He appeared to be intimidating at first, yet in reality he would show you that he is just a big giant teddy bear who would be your best friend and would never leave you feeling alone.

He is survived by his common-law wife, Sienna Tom (26 years old), & their two beautiful boys, Isaac Hayes Bow, (5 years old.) & Tatum Tom (8 months old.)  He leaves behind his siblings, Emilio Kanosh (28 yrs old), Mia Luisa Kanosh-Martinez (19 yrs old.), Felix Cedeno Martinez-Kanosh (23 yrs old), & Santana Pheonix Kanosh-John (7 yrs old). Along with both his moms Edurine Shawnee Kanosh (50 yrs old) & Jana Gayle Kanosh-John (45 yrs old), and his dad, Luther William Bow Jr. (unknown)

He is preceded in death by his two younger brothers, Mikel Oscar Kanosh & Isaac Claymont Kanosh-Wright. The world will never again feel the warmth of his presence or be blessed with the purity of his heartwarming laughs. The Creator has plans for him to move onto a better place alongside his baby brothers in the Heavens. He will be forever missed & held dear to our hearts. There is truly no one in this world with as beautiful a soul as you, my little brother. I know he’s standing over his friends & family making us all safe. We love him more than anything in this world. His name will forever live on, through his sons…

His Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 at 3 p.m.- 5 p.m. over at Southern Utah Mortuary (190 N. 300 W. Cedar City, Utah, 84720). There will be a viewing the same day, at that same location, but from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. There will also be a Traditional Sing held in honor of Bailey’s Life at the Cedar Band Building (600 N. 100 E. Cedar City, Utah, 84721). Final arrangements are under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
