Ann Lyman Sevy Pryor, beloved, wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024, with family by her side. Ann was born August 2, 1943, in Cedar City Utah, to Milt and Irene Sevy, Ann was the oldest child, and enjoyed a wonderful childhood with her brothers and sisters.

Ann was a giving mother to her five children, Hollie, Todd, Lori, Cristine, and Cole and a devoted wife to her loving husband Art with whom she shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with love and joy in Cedar City

Ann was known for her selflessness and compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends, and devoted much of her life to caring for everyone around her.

She had a special talent for making and acquiring delicious treats, which she loved to consume and share with everyone around her.

Ann had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought her joy. She was an avid quilter, making quilts for the new baby’s coming to family, those getting married, and others that needed some quilt love. Ann also loved to knit and crochet, sharing that skill with some of her kids. Ann was a baker of the best cinnamon rolls ever, making them for the annual hunts on the mountain. And one of her latest and surprising activities was joining the water aerobics classes with one of her good friends. Ann was also a big reader, and enjoyed romance novels, the newspaper, and the Ensign.

In her younger years, Ann would take her sister dragging main street, drinking a coke, listening to great music, BJ Thomas, Neil Diamond, Dianna Ross and Kenny Rogers to name a few. Music was a love when cruising around anywhere and supported singing along.

Ann loved a good reunion whether it was family, friends or classmates. We’re sure this reunion with family and friends on the other side truly is a joyous one. Yeh yeh! Enjoy your reunion mom! Until we meet again.

Ann was one of seven children. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Milton and Irene Sevy, sister Elaine, and grandsons Jared and Gavin. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Arthur Pryor, and her five children, Hollie Pryor, Todd (Shelly) Pryor, Lori (Mark Walters) Pryor, Cristine (Kade) Rolfson, and Cole Pryor. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
