Residents are invited to attend a community discussion on “Why Utah Needs a Data Center Moratorium” presented by Dr. Kent Udell, candidate for Utah’s 3rd Congressional District.

The event will be held Friday, Aug. 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Johnson Center for Community Arts and Education, 59 N. 100 W. in Cedar City.

According to event organizers, the evening will include a presentation by Udell on the impacts of data center development in Utah, followed by an opportunity for conversation with attendees. Complimentary bites and beverages will be provided.
