REMEMBER the Fallen-HONOR those who Serve-TEACH our children the value of Freedom. No matter where they served or how-Wreaths Across America strives to make sure that no one is forgotten.

On December 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm, Wreath Across American will be at the Cedar City Cemetery. 1,358 wreaths will be placed on our country’s fallen heroes as we say the names of each and every veteran aloud. The hand-tied live balsam wreaths were delivered to the Cedar City Cemetery. SUU Football Team unloaded the 18-wheeler truck ready for honor our fallen soldiers. Ceremony and wreath placing is Saturday December 14, at 2 pm, volunteers can arrive at 8 am to help.

Wreaths Across America is a free, public event that takes place on National Wreaths Across America Day each December. Across the country there are more than 4,300 memorial sites just like ours, there are millions of Americans who will be gathering as one nation to Remember, Honor and Teach the values of sacrifice and service. We are all proud to be Americans living in a free society made up of many people from many walks of life. The freedom we enjoy today has not come without a price. Lying here before and around us in cemeteries throughout the nation, are men and women who gave their lives so that we can live in freedom and without fear. We can worship as we see fit. We are free to vote for the leaders of our choosing. We have the right to succeed, and we have the right to fail at whatever endeavor we wish to pursue.

The mission is to “Remember, Honor, and Teach”. These wreaths are all hand-made in the United States from Maine balsam. It is our mission that no veteran is ever forgotten. Our veterans accepted the responsibility to defend America and uphold our values when duty called.

“One Flag, One Land, One Heart, One Nation Evermore”. Why do we believe in America? Because we have great dreams, and because we have the opportunity to make all those dreams come true, one way or another.

Anyone who wants to offer a small gesture of gratitude for the freedoms Americans enjoy can volunteer at the wreath-laying ceremony to assist in saying veteran names aloud and thanking them for their service-visit oberhelman@[email protected] to volunteer.
