From Indigo Medicine Holistic Healing, For Iron County Today
CEDAR CITY, UT: Cedar City, Iron County, Southern Utah and Nevada residents are invited to attend the Grand Opening of Indigo Medicine Holistic Healing Center focusing on Family, Osteopathic, and Holistic medical practices.
Their Grand Opening will be Saturday, Nov. 9th from 11 am to 1 pm at their location on Cedar City’s Historic Main Street at 137 North Main. During the Grand opening the public can tour the facility, meet Dr. David Dalton, D. O., enjoy refreshments and enter a drawing for various treatments and other gifts.
As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Dalton follows osteopathic principles to optimize your form and function to bring your life to new vitality. Dr. Dalton finds the American Healthcare system to “be a rescue system rather than a healthcare system.” Dr. Dalton also adds “If I’m in a car wreck, major trauma, or need ICU care, that America is the place to be, but if I want a system that is proactive about my health, then almost anywhere else in the world is better than America.” Thus, Dr. Dalton, is building a practice in southern Utah that will “provide treatment of root causes rather than band-aid solutions offered by western medicine.”
Dr. Dalton is a local to southern Utah having graduated from Parowan High School and Southern Utah University. He received his D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathy) degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ, and completed his residency in Family Practice and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at AT Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Dalton has spent the last five years working at Grover C. Dills Medical Clinics and Hospital in Caliente and Alamo, Nevada. He is licensed in Utah, Nevada, Missouri, Arizona, and California.
Dr. Dalton is also a veteran. He currently serves in the Utah Army National Guard. During his 23 years of military service, he has gone on medical humanitarian operations to Alaska, Guatemala, and Morocco, where medical teams cumulatively saw over 20,000 patients during those three missions. Dr. Dalton added, “For some of these people, this is the only time that they will see a medical doctor during their lifespan.” Dr. Dalton also had one mobilization to Kuwait serving as a Battalion Surgeon and performing joint training with the Kuwait medical personnel on emergency medical treatment and care.
Dr. Dalton is currently accepting new patients on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm, and by appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. He is currently spending one day a week in Caliente, NV, caring for his patients from Nevada. Dr. Dalton is also an Adjunct Professor at Rocky Vista University in Ivins, UT, where he teaches Osteopathic Principles and Practices.
