Lyle C. Judd, 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025, at his home in Cedar City, Utah. He was born on December 5, 1958, in Cedar City to Mary Lyle and Mosdell Paul Judd.
Lyle graduated from Southern Utah University with an associate degree in auto mechanics. He married the love of his life, DeLois Hughes, on May 10, 1985, in the St. George Temple.
He is survived by his wife, DeLois Judd; his children, James, Michael (Kylie), Christopher, Charla, and Anthony; his siblings, Paula Walker, Chris (Robin) Judd, and Kathy (Jerry—deceased) Christensen; along with two grandchildren and twenty-two nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lyle and Mosdell Paul Judd.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Southern Utah Mortuary (190 N. 300 W., Cedar City, Utah 84720). Final arrangements are under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences may be shared at www.mortuary.org.
