It is with the heaviest of hearts we announce the passing of our Dear Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. Harry Charles “Chuck” Ferris. He left this earthly life on June 8th in Las Vegas at the age of 89. 

He resided in Enoch, Utah (The Ranch) and Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife Florence Truman Ferris, Daughters Diana (Vince) Browning, Linda (Grant) Stewart, Barbara (Jeff) Ambuehl, and Brenda (Rob) Arnold. He had nine Grandchildren Christa, James, Justin, Jesse, Joleen, Steven, and Caleb, and 16 great grandchildren, his Sister-in-law Bonnie and many nieces and nephews.

He had a strong work ethic and built two successful companies Rapid Mechanical (HVAC), and Action Air a (Service Company). He held many positions in SMACNA serving as President twice and served on the Sheetmetal Apprenticeship Board. He loved his country and had a great appreciation and respect for it. 

He had a great love for his family and instilled many great qualities and values in them. Always by his great example. He organized many family gatherings making lasting memories through the generations. He loved planning from menus, places to camp and adventures. He loved nature and the great outdoors. He blessed many people providing a helping hand when needed. He had many lifelong friends. He truly enjoyed world travel and saw many sights and cultures. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease. His best friend was a four-legged furry friend named Lincoln. They were great companions. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers Jim and Ed, Sister Anne, Granddaughter Melissa, and Grandson Jeremy. He is survived by his brother John, Sister-in-law Bonnie and many nieces and nephews. He was the most AWESOME EARTHLY Father and a true treasured Patriarch. He will be forever missed. 

Funeral services Sunday, June 16th at 2:00 at Palm Mortuary Eastern 7600 S. Eastern Las Vegas, 89123.
