Glenn Taylor Beacham, 59, passed from this life on August 14, 2026. He will be remembered for his love, generosity, faith, and gentle strength.
Glenn was one of eight sons born to Carma and George Beacham. Raised in Newcastle with his brothers—Joel, Layne, Dan, Bill, Brent, Nathan and—he developed a deep love for family, hard work, adventure, and the outdoors.
Glenn married Denice Bunker, and together they built a loving family. He was embraced by Denice’s family, forming cherished eternal bonds, including a special friendship with Ethan, his adventure companion and trusted confidant.
Glenn found peace and joy in the outdoors—rappelling, hiking, caving, rock collecting, taking long drives, and sharing nature’s beauty with those he loved. He also treasured Scouting, where he mentored youth, served beside his sons, and built lasting friendships.
A carpenter at heart, Glenn learned the value of hard work and craftsmanship beside his father. His skill, integrity, and dedication were evident throughout his career as a business owner, project manager, construction foreman, and building superintendent.
Glenn was a lifelong learner with a thoughtful and creative mind. He loved music, art, history, woodworking, architecture, reading, and writing, and graduated from Cedar High School and Southern Utah University.
Known as “The Gentle Giant,” Glenn had a gift for helping others feel seen and heard. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he lived his testimony through love, service, teaching, and quiet compassion.
Above all, Glenn cherished being a father and grandfather and found great joy as Dad and “Poppa Glenn.” His legacy of love lives on in his children: Adam (Maddie), Mitchell (Kira), Sydney, Harvey (Maria), Emma (Anakin) Barrick, and Luke Beacham; grandchildren Rachel, Delaney, and Dean; and in Madelyn, Marshall, Dominic, and Kalli, whom he was blessed to help father.
Glenn’s life was a blessing to all who knew him. His love, faith, craftsmanship, wisdom, and gentle strength will continue to bless and inspire generations to come.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00am at the Cedarview Ward Chapel (1925 West 320 South Cedar City).
