Ethan Reed Robinson passed away on September 10, 2025, in Fort Benning, Georgia.
Ethan was born on June 8, 1999, to Brandant and Naomi Robinson in Logan, Utah. He spent most of his childhood in Cedar City, Utah where he grew up alongside his five brothers and five sisters. He was a passionate swimmer and water polo player, learning sportsmanship and the importance of teamwork. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America, where he developed important life skills and ultimately earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
After graduating from Cedar High School, Ethan served an honorable mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Hong Kong and gaining a great love for the people and their culture.
Following his mission, Ethan’s heart was set on serving his country in the armed forces. In 2023, he enlisted in the army and began his miliary service. He and his family were incredibly proud the day he donned his tan beret and became an Army Ranger. He loved his Ranger brothers and formed strong bonds with many of those brave men.
In 2024 Ethan reconnected with Kaylee Hillyard from Enoch, Utah and began a long-distance courtship. He loved Kaylee and always treated her with tenderness and respect. In the summer of 2025, while on miliary leave, he proposed to Kaylee on the Bristlecone Pine Trail on Cedar Mountain. They had planned to be wed on October 10, 2025.
Ethan is survived by his parents Brandant and Naomi, and siblings Cody (Paige), Sariah (Jacob) Fox, Amber, Joshua (Kalissa), Megan, Ryan, Matthew, Mary, Adam, and Chloe.
The family would like to thank the miliary personal, ward members, and all those who were so sensitive and thoughtful in their diligent service during this difficult time.
