A memorial service will be held to remember a wonderful friend, Deborah Elaine Cox, born on August 2nd, 1952.  She passed into heaven’s glory on July 20th, 2024.  Deborah was 71 years old.  Please join us at Mountain View Baptist Church on August 10th (Saturday) at 11 A.M., as we celebrate her life through our Lord Jesus Christ.  The church is located at 1160 S. 860 W., Cedar City, UT.

Deborah was born in Washington D.C. and raised in a great many places around the United States, as the daughter of Ruby J. Cox and Carl W. Cox.  She is survived by her only child Beverly, and missed by her friends.  She spent many years working at GTE which eventually became the Verizon company.  She also worked as an assistant manager at Amgen Pharmaceuticals in California. She always loved her pet dogs and had a particular fondness for those who caused both fun and mischief, most notably her Dachshunds – Merry and Sammy, who were remembered very fondly too.  Deborah loved the Word of God and devoted much time in studying her Bible.  She also loved to share her personal faith in Jesus Christ with her friends & family.  Her ashes will be scattered at sea off the Santa Barbara coast.
