Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother Cherie Jane Osborn, age 77, passed away on November 11, 2024, in Cedar City, Utah. She was born on June 19, 1947, in Independence, Missouri to Kenneth and Maureen Mae Buroughs. She married David Albert Osborn Sr. on November 14, 1965, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They had 59 wonderful years together and adding to their joy was three wonderful children: David Jr, Andrew and Tiffany.
Cherie was a strong Christian woman, who exemplified those values in everything that she did. She was a bible scholar, an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She loved to cook, decorate her home and enjoyed gardening.
Cherie is survived by her husband David Albert Osborn Sr. of Cedar City, Utah. Her children: David A. (Michelle) Osborn Jr. of New Harmony, Utah, Andrew J. (Tammy) Osborn of Las Vegas, Nevada and Tiffany E. Tkachuk of Cedar City, Utah. Along with seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her brother Perry Buroughs from Colorado Springs, Colorado and sister Nanette Hall from Des Moines, Iowa.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Red Hills Southern Baptist Church located at 4277 N. Wagon Wheel Dr, Enoch, Utah. A viewing will also be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at the Church. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
