Breck Roger Parry, 65, passed away on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Breck was born on April 16th, 1959 in Cedar City, Utah to Roger and Dorlene (Lamb) Parry. He was the middle of three children.
Breck grew up in Cedar City, Utah. He raced dirt bikes. He loved riding dirt bikes. He followed Motocross and loved keeping up with the races.
Breck was always a hard worker and took pride in his work. At age 12, he worked almost every weekend with his dad seal coating parking lots. At age 17, he went to work on a crusher with his Uncle Sherwin in St. George, Utah. He worked hard and owned his own company BP Development before he ended up in Las Vegas, Nevada working for Las Vegas Paving. He moved to Las Vegas in 1997 and called that home. He was the most skilled heavy machinery operator. Anyone that worked with him knew him for his dirt work.
Some of the things Breck took pride in were his three girls, his grandchildren, his 1948 Ford truck that he restored and drove for many years, “The Pathway” scripture picture he drew as a study guide for an array of topics, the Family Tree he drew and kept updated, the dollhouse he constructed for his grandchildren with working electricity, and his paraplegic walking invention. He loved to tinker and build. He constructed a train track around the ceiling of his condo. He always said his condo was a toy palace for his grandchildren. He was very proud of his Caterpillar collection of loaders and heavy machinery.
He always said he had the biggest heart. And in his own way, he showed it. He was a record keeper. He loved writing everything down and keeping track of dates. He led a simple life. He would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. He always had a giving heart. He loved the scripture Genesis 31:49 talking about the Mizpah, “May the Lord watch between me and thee while we are absent one from the other.”
Breck is survived by his children Stacie (Tyson) Brooks, Michelle (Lloyd) Mathews, and Stephanie (Brett) Williams, and 11 grandchildren. And his two sisters Angelyn Isom and Marlinda (Larry) Palmer.
