Alma Ronald (Ron) Larsen passed away July 16, 2024 in Cedar City, UT at the age of 87. He was born in Glenwood, UT in 1937. When in school he received several awards in FFA.

Ron started to bake when he got a job at Parsons Bakery when he was 14 years old. He owned and operated Ron and Cris bakery for 43 1/2 years. He enjoyed serving the community.

Ron served in the National Guard for many years. He served an LDS mission to the Southern States Mission. Over the years he taught several classes at church, was the welfare and ward clerk. When he retired, he had 5 different volunteer jobs.

Ron is survived by his wife Crystal (Cris) Larsen, daughter Teresia Larsen and son Helyx Helyx (Kenneth A. Larsen). Grandchildren Samantha Bagley, Sabrina Downward, Adam Bushman, Alan Bushman. Great-Grandchildren Dustin Downward and Russell Downward.

Cris would like to thank the staff at Cedar Health and Rehabilitation for their compassionate and kind care to both of us at this difficult time.

There will be a graveside service at the Cedar City Cemetery at 11am on Wednesday July 31, 2024, under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences may be left at www.mortuary.org. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Women’s Crisis Center or the Humane Society.
