With the utmost respect and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Robert Wilkinson, known lovingly as Bob or Bob-o, on June 19th, 2026.
Bob was born to Robert Shirley Wilkinson and Marcia Jean Wilkinson on September 29, 1952, in San Diego, California. He was the older brother of Brent Wilkinson, Barry Wilkinson, and Debbie Wilkinson Shumway.
Throughout his life Bob dedicated time to serving the Lord in many callings including as a missionary in the Australia West mission from 1971-1973, as a Bishop for the El Cajon 6th ward and most recently as a temple worker in the Cedar City, Utah temple.
Professionally, Bob was a successful CPA, serving the state of California as a school auditor and a tax consultant for many clients. He founded Wilkinson Hadley King and Co. and retired in 2020 when he relocated with his wife Lesli to Cedar City, Utah where they were able to build a home for the grandkids to come and stay.
Bob’s wife, Lesli; his four sons, Brian, Brad (Tammy), Matthew (Corinne), and Johnny (Taylor); and his nine grandchildren—Alexis, Treyson, Baylee, Brayson, Jarod, Reed, Austin, Beau, and Easton—will remember Bob-o for his sharp wit, his devotion to his family and faith, and his willingness to serve and help those blessed to know him. They will fondly remember his love of the San Diego Padres, his dogs, and his ability to make them laugh and smile even on the hardest days.
The void his spirit has already left is immeasurable.
If you would like to celebrate Bob’s life and the impact he had on this earth, please join us for a funeral service on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Latter-day Saint Chapel located at 451 E. Midvalley Rd in Enoch, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Enoch Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
