I Ask for Your Vote in 2026
Dear Neighbors and Friends,
Serving you in the Utah State Senate has been one of the greatest honors of my life. After much thought and encouragement from many of you, I am announcing my decision to run for re-election. It’s a critical time in our state that needs proven, successful leadership, someone who knows and loves our area, and will fight tirelessly to protect what makes us the best place in the world to live, work, and raise families.
Together, we’ve made real progress. I’ve worked to strengthen our education system, invest in critical water and transportation infrastructure, support small businesses, and ensure our rural communities get the resources and attention they deserve. As a leader in the Legislature, I’ve helped shape policies that reflect our values of fiscal responsibility, local decision-making, and practical problem-solving.
As important, and maybe even more so, we need leaders with integrity who are willing to lead as strong examples of what is good and right in our community. There has been much discord politically in our world and in our area. How we move through that is by choosing leaders who are willing to live the harder, higher road of civility and good will, who seek to build instead of tear down. This is something that by example I have lived my entire life. There is a better way forward, and it comes from the good people I represent in Juab, Millard, Beaver, Iron, and Washington counties, the people who work hard every single day to make our area the best it can be, coming together to choose the leaders who cherish and prioritize the values that founded this blessed area we call home. My number one priority has been to make sure the people I represent have a say in the Utah Legislature. It is so critical that those of us from rural Utah have someone representing them who is a trusted and respected leader. I have done my very best to meet that high bar.
There is much to do. With your support, I will keep fighting for policies that protect our way of life, encourage smart economic growth, and ensure our families have opportunities to thrive for generations to come. I’m grateful for your trust and ask for your continued support in the upcoming election. I will be filing to run in January of 2026.
