Cedar City was impacted by an early winter storm last night. The storm brought wet heavy snow and caused significant tree damage. To help property owners with cleanup efforts, Cedar City is providing two options for Cedar City Residents to dispose of TREE BRANCHES ONLY:

  1. Free access to Bulloch Pit, located at 1050 North Lund Highway. The pit will remain open to the public over the weekend and through the middle of next week. Due to regulations, the pit cannot receive household items or other waste. Please help by disposing of TREE BRANCHES ONLY.
  2. Pile tree branches on curb in front of your property. Please do not park vehicles on the street so crews can clean up the branches. Cedar City Public Works crews will pick up tree branches next week.
