Paula Kaye Parry (Adams) passed away on June 23rd surrounded by family. She had battled cancer since 2020. Even with the side effects her compassionate and loving nature still shined through.
Paula was born on March 29th, 1966 to William Gary Adams and Kathryn Hunter Adams in Cedar City Utah. Paula married and was sealed to Kendall Olds Parry on July 10th, 1987 in the St. George Temple.
Paula worked various jobs in her lifetime. She found out at a young age that she had a love for caring for people. This allowed her to care for her patients as an EMT Tech on the ambulance as well as in the hospital. While working in the medical field she made several friends who cared for her even in her last days.
Paula’s most recent position, Administrative Assistant at Southern Utah University Welcome Center was her most loved and fulfilling job. She cared so much for the students that she welcomed and many remained friends with her to this day. She worked closely with the Presidential Ambassadors, so close in fact she became Mama Paula to them all.
She served in various callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One of her favorite was primary teacher, which she served for several years. She adored the kids as much as they adored her.
Paula always looked for reasons to gather her friends and family together. She enjoyed many things, one of these was hosting gatherings at her home and at one of her favorite spots, her cabin up Cedar Mountain. The time she cherished most was time spent with her two grandsons. She cared for them as her own and had a special bond with them.
She is survived by her spouse Kendall Parry, her children ,Shaylee Lamoreaux ( Kenny), and Brady Parry. Grandchildren: Porter and Parker Lamoreaux . Brother Craig Adams, Mother-in -law Yvonne Parry, Sisters in- law Teresa Topham, Katie Young ( Chris ) and many other relatives that loved her.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Father-in-law Kenyon Parry, Brother- in – law Larry Topham.
