Jerry Neal Nowland, known affectionately by all as Neal, passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on March 18, 1958, in Blythe, CA, Neal was a beacon of light and love, known for his funny antics, generous spirit, courageous heart, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved.
Neal spent his life serving in every situation he was in. He loved people and had a special way of showing it. He was a man who found great joy in helping others and dedicated his life to making a difference. His generosity extended beyond his career as he was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He was a courageous soul who faced life’s challenges with a smile and the kind of humor that could brighten anyone’s day. His loyalty to his family, friends, and faith was evident in all he did.
Neal resided in Enoch, Utah, where he built a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Kathleen, whom he married on November 21, 1990. He was a devoted husband and a pillar of strength for his family. Neal was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a man of deep faith, and he held firm in his belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ. His commitment to his faith and family was his driving force.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen, his 4 sons, Justin (Myriam), Brandon (Kellie), Nephi, Alma, his daughter Jenna (Marc) and his 8 grandchildren, Mark, Zeke, Brielle, Emma, Ben, Spencer, Thomas and Sam.
There will be a viewing on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 9:30 am MDT, at the Enoch Stake Center in Enoch Utah. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am MDT also at the Enoch Utah Stake Center, 2233 Village Green Road, Enoch, Utah.
