Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Daria Forbush passed away on September 6, 2024, after struggling with many health issues. She was born on August 1, 1946, in Logan, Utah to Darwin and Faye Louise Thompson Bradfield. She was the oldest of four children: Dana Roden (Dennis) Panaca, NV, LeAnn Phillips (Randy) Cedar City, UT and Dahl Bradfield (Debbie) Panaca, NV.
Daria attended Junior High at Millard High in Fillmore, UT but graduated from Junior High in Twin Falls, ID because the family moved. They then moved to Caliente Nevada where she graduated from Lincoln County High in 1964. After High School she moved to Salt Lake City and attended Excelles Beauty College, graduating with a cosmetology license.
Daria married her first husband in 1965. To that marriage she had two children, Thad Lynn Thompson (Leisa) of Reno, TX and Tiffani Daria Thompson Graff (Jim) of Cedar City, UT. That marriage ended in a divorce in 1974.
She attended Salt Lake Community College and went on to receive her nursing license. Daria worked for IHC for 27 years at Salt Lake LDS Hospital and Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City before she retired.
Daria married the love of her life, Norman Forbush on February 14, 1984, and was sealed to him in the St. George Temple on August 1, 1984. To this marriage 4 children were added to her family. Chad Forbush, Gilbert, AZ, Wendy McDonald (Jason), Julie Kinder (Chris) Salt Lake City, UT, Mandy Brindley (Ryan) Kingston, UT.
Daria loved crafts, sewing, decorating, traveling on cruise ships, collecting things and painting pictures for everyone. But mostly she loved being with family. She could mend anything and made many quilts, blessing dresses and tuxedos. She also knitted hats for the Cancer Center, Homeless and family. She will be greatly missed.
Daria is survived by her husband Norman LeRoy Forbush, her children Thad, Chad, Tiffani, Julie and Mandy, 1 brother Dahl and 2 sisters Dana & LeAnn, along with 24 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren with 2 on the way still coming down from heaven.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Darwin & Faye Bradfield, her daughter Wendy, son-in-law Jason and grandson Tyson Thompson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 @ 11:00 am at the Cedarview Ward Chapel located at 1925 W. 320 S., Cedar City, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 9:30-10:30 am at the church. Interment will be in the City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
