Kevin Jay Rowley, age 73, passed away March 9, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family, in Cedar City, Utah. He was born Nov 9, 1951 in Cedar City, Utah to Jay and LaRue Rowley, where he grew up and lived a great life.

He worked at Stewarts Electric while in high school and then later for Rocky Mountain Power. He retired from Rocky Mountain Power after 30 years of service due to medical reasons. He has struggled with so many medical issues for over 20 years. He looked forward to coffee at the Market Grill with his friends. He loved working with wood, making wishing wells and toy boxes, if you have one consider yourself lucky and loved. He also enjoyed bow hunting and fishing with family and friends. Camping at Tippets and carving names in the trees was something he and his friends enjoyed. He always helped the neighbors by taking out their garbage cans to the street or shoveling snow off their driveways. He was very compassionate and concerned about others. He made sure his mother always had firewood and would get the wood with his brother Russell.

Kevin enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his nephew Zach Rowley. Zach was always willing to help Kevin whenever he needed it.

He is survived by his children Elyse Ricketts (Larry) and Travis Anderson (Jodi). His brothers Brad Rowley (Elaine) and Russell Rowley (Lori). His sister Barbara Buoy (Alan).

He is preceded in death by his parents Jay and LaRue Rowley, son Brant Anderson and many good friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 12:00 pm in the Cedar City Cemetery (160 W. 685 N, Cedar City, Utah) under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be made at www.mortuary.org
