The state contest was April 20-21 in Logan and nearly 60 schools from throughout the state competed, FFA Advisor Jon Burton said.
The students participated in 10 different contests and improved their scores from last year in every contest but one.
The students placed fifth overall in Livestock Judging and received a gold ranking. Brecia Davis was the Second High Individual in the contest. This contest had 59 teams competing with four people on each team.
“For (Davis) to place second in the state is a great accomplishment,” Burton said.
A fifth place overall win with a silver ranking was given to the Agricultural Communications team and Chelsey Hansen was the Third High Individual.
The students also took sixth overall in Agricultural Sales with a silver ranking. They also received silver rankings in Floriculture and Forestry.
Bronze rankings were awarded to the students in Horse Judging, Dairy Cattle Judging, Farm Business Management, Meats Judging and Agricultural Mechanics.
