Heritage Center Director Byron Linford said people are going to see Collin Raye like they have never seen him before. He has a new show designed around the smaller 1,000-seat theatre, where he will be much closer to the audience. However, it will still be a great show with the full band, big live sound, and dynamic performances Raye is known for, Linford said.
“This will be a really unique experience seeing him perform on our stage,” he said. “It will be a really intimate setting and a chance to see him as you never have before.”
Collin Raye was one of the huge hit makers of the 1990s with songs like “Love Me,” which became a huge hit that launched him into fame.
His songbook is full of what have become country standards and crossover hits such as “In this Life.”
Raye has produced many songs that are anthems for people starting over such as “Little Rock.” “Not That Different,” was a call to tolerance, and he won awards for the child advocacy video “I Think About You.”
Fans will hear hits such as “My Kind of Girl,” “I Can Still Feel You,” and “That’s My Story.”
