Max D. Weaver, former resident of Cedar City and teacher and College of Southern Utah/SUU, celebrated his 95th birthday on March 14, 2012. He was born in 1917 in Layton, Utah where he grew up and attended school. He graduated from Utah State University, served in the Armed Forces during World War II, taught art in Helper, Utah, at Logan High School, at CSU and at BYU. He is presently living with family in Cedar City. He has six children, 39 grandchildren, 103 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
