Douglas Fielding Jackson will celebrate his 90th birthday on Jan. 28, 2012. He was born and raised in Cedar City, Utah and served in the Air Force during World War II. Doug married Fern Hansen on March 20, 1946 and raised four children, Penny (Gardner), Lance, Terry and Barbara (Chidester). Doug founded Jackson Plumbing and Heating and operated the business until his retirement. He and Fern filled a mission at the LDS Employment Center in Cedar City and worked in the St. George Temple for many years. A family party in his honor will be Jan. 28.
