Coach Mark Johnson’s Redmen battled through bad weather and a difficult draw before being eliminated from the state tourney at Hurst Field in St. George.

In the opening game, Brooks Orton tossed a complete game in eliminating Emery 6-3, but a game with Bear River was postponed because of rain.

Friday, the Bears defeated the Redmen 3-2 in extra innings to send Cedar home. Brooks Orton, Kole Halladay and Cody Hone helped pace the Redmen in the playoffs.
