Eagle Scouts: Carson Halterman and Walker Halterman

Carson Halterman and Walker Halterman, 15-year-old twin sons of Sam and Mary Halterman, of Parowan, Utah, both earned their Eagle Scout Awards, which were presented in a ceremony Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Carson completed his project in August and September of 2010 by scraping and painting the railings around the Iron County Fairgrounds Rodeo arena, scraping and painting the gazebo and picnic tables at the rodeo grounds and repairing and painting ticket booths in preparation for the Iron County Fair. Walker completed his project in the month of December, helping organize the county Christmas Sub-for-Santa program at the Iron County Fairgrounds Building. Both boys are freshmen at Parowan High School.
