The Parowan girls’ soccer team ended its second year in existence after making it to the semi finals.

Up against the tough Jayhawks from St. Joseph (15-0-1 overall), Parowan couldn’t progress any further. Scoring 4 points in the first half and 1 in the second, St. Joseph dominated the game and eliminated Parowan from competition.

The final game came between St. Joseph and Waterford. A 1-1 tie scored at the end of double overtime put the fate of the championship to a shootout that the Jayhawks won 3-1.

Parowan ends the season with a second place regional finish and an impressive 9-2-1 regional record and an 11-4-1 overall record.

While the Lady Rams lose two important seniors, most of their key players will be coming back next year with more experience and a greater desire to win. They had a fantastic season this year and should have even better success in the future.
