OGDEN–Southern Utah University sophomore Kamonwan (Poy) Prasurtwong has been named to the Big Sky All-Conference Second Team for her performance during the course of the season.
The reigning Freshman of the Year in the Big Sky has a stroke average of 74.75 heading into the Big Sky Tournament this week, and compiled four top-10 finishes through the course of the 2017-18 campaign.
As a freshman Prasurtwong was named to the Big Sky’s First Team, securing an All-Conference honor back-to-back seasons.
“Poy has had a great start to her career here in Cedar City, and we’re proud of the way she’s played for us this season,” SUU head coach Richard Church said. “We’re looking forward to seeing how she’ll play at Boulder Creek this weekend.”
The Thunderbirds will be in action at the Big Sky Conference Championships starting on Friday (April 20).
