A mermaid be waitin’ for you in the mysterious fathoms below…and her name is Ariel. Thanks to the talents of the Cedar City Children’s Musical Theatre, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is coming to an ocean near you.
With a cast of over two hundred kids, amazing volunteers, set designers and choreographers, this is one show you don’t want to miss. See all your familiar finny and funny friends from under the sea including, Sebastian, Flounder, Prince Eric and of course, the curious and melodic mermaid, Ariel. There will also be new, fun songs and magical special effects. “We’ve got some really talented kids,” said Director and CCCMT President, Jewly Krause.
“We’re going to try really hard to bring the Disney magic to life.”
Tickets can be purchased online at www.cccmt.org. There will be five nights of performances beginning on Thursday, Aug. 24 and running through Aug. 29, except Sunday. Shows will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and children are encouraged to come wearing their favorite prince, or princess costume. There will also be opportunities following the show to visit with cast members and take pictures. Don’t be a guppy and make this season’s production of The Little Mermaid a part of your world.
