William (Bill) and Kathie Ward are celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary. They were married Aug. 8, 1962 in Ely, Nev. Their marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on May 8, 1965. Bill worked for Kennecott Copper Corporation in Nevada and Utah for 30 years as a field machinist. Kathie was a talented floral designer and homemaker. Together they raised three children while living in Ely, Nev. and West Jordan, Utah. After retiring, they moved to Beaver, Utah and are currently settled in Cedar City. Their children are Janet, Bill (RaNae) and Roger (Jonna), and their grandchildren are Jacob and Alexis.
