Dave was a good listener and a genuine friend, who showed his love and compassion to all those who knew him. We will remember him for all the late-night talks and memories shared.
Dave was born March 21, 1951 in Cedar City, Utah to Therlon and Lenore Smith Joseph. He was the fourth of eight children. Dave graduated from Beaver High School in 1969 and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Dave loved going to the South Field with family and helping with the farm work.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Richard T. “Butch” Joseph, Peggy Ann Tuckett, Darla (Sherm) Swindlehurst, Patrick W. Joseph, Penny (Robert) Wright and Charlotte (Chad) Dalton.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lenore and Therlon, his older sister Edna “Joyce” Joseph and his nephew Robert “Robbie” Tuckett. One of the most important parts of Dave’s legacy is his love for 13 nieces and nephews and 30 great-nieces and nephews.
Compassionate funeral services for David were Wednesday, June 27 in the Beaver 1st Ward Chapel. Viewings were Tuesday evening at The Swindlehurst Funeral Home (360 W. 100 North) and prior to services in the church. Dave will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
