ENOCH–Enoch was one of 13 cities recently awarded the PetSafe Bark for Your Park $25,000 grant for the Enoch Dog Park.

In order to be considered for the grant, members of Friends of Festival Country K-9s had to provide documentation about the park and authorization from community leaders who offer their support of the park. Enoch was one of 13 cities chosen out of 120 applicants.

PetSafe is a company that creates innovative pet product solutions. The Bark for Your Park Grant is a program through the company that is meant to help create safe, off-leash areas for pets and their owners by providing funds that can be used to build, maintain or enhance a community dog park.

The Enoch Dog Park is open, but FFCK9 is still working to improve it with several features. Western Rock has donated several tons of material for walking paths around the perimeter of the park, and Bulloch Dirt Works donated the transportation of that material. This was the fourth time FFCK9 applied for the grant, and it will be focused primarily on a sprinkler system, sod and drinking faucets.
