The 4th grade students visited the Frontier Homestead State Park Museum on May 14. This museum tells the story of the development in Iron County when in the 1850’s, Brigham Young sent Mormon missionaries here to mine and process iron. Museum displays include horse-drawn vehicles used from 1850 to 1920 and a collection of pioneer artifacts. An iron industry exhibit features the only known remaining artifact from the original foundry – the town bell. We would like to thank the museum for providing this opportunity for our students.

First grade students will travel to St. George on May 17 to experience the many fun activities found at the St. George Children’s Museum.

A huge shout out to our awesome Kindergarten teachers for all they have done this year for their students-Mrs. Shelly Barney, Mrs. Kellie Nowland, and Mrs. Kim Hardin.

Fiddlers Elementary recently selected its Spring Spirit of Sorrel Recipients. These recipients demonstrate excellence and dedication in education. Recipients include teacher, Michelle Vasi, staff member, Kristen Reynolds, and volunteer Shelley Schneider.

The Mustangs will celebrate the end of the year with a multitude of fun learning activities. On May 17, the “mini mall” will be held and on May 22, Field Day will take place.
