Canyon View Middle School prepares for back to school

Canyon View Middle School is in the process of registering new students to the Cedar City area within the boundaries for CVMS. New students to the area in grades 6, 7 and 8 within CVMS boundaries should call the school at (435) 586-2830 to arrange an appointment with the counselor to set up a schedule for the upcoming school year.

Schedules and registration information have been mailed to students who pre-registered at the school last Spring.

Students in seventh grade must provide documentation they have received the Tetnus/Diphtheria/Pertussis booster In addition, Utah State Law now states that the school must have on file, either parent’s signature on disease or medical documentation of having received the Varicella vaccine. These items may be brought to the school office and the school will make a copy and the student may then receive their schedule. Seventh grade students will not be allowed to attend school until the information is provided to the school.

Fees may be paid at the school business window weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students are welcome to visit the school during the same hours and find their classrooms and become acquainted with the school.

Back-to-School Night Open House for Canyon View Middle School students and parents will be held at Canyon View Middle School on Aug. 14 from noon to 5 p.m.
