Rae Simkins Fullerton Bradfield

Rae Simkins Fullerton Bradfield passed away on August 13, 2018 surrounded by family.

She was born on August 26, 1933 in Cedar City, Utah to the parents of Robert Bullock and Ellen Ashdown Simkins.  She was the fifth of seven children.  She grew up in Cedar City, Utah and graduated from Cedar High School where she was the Vice President of her Senior Class.

Rae married Lloyd Petty Fullerton on October 2, 1954, who passed away in November 1997.  She then married Thomas F. Bradfield in December 1998.

Rae was a phone operator in Salt Lake City where she retired after 21 years.  She was a member of the LDS church.  She loved camping, boating, four-wheeling and traveling with her family and friends.  She was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz and Utah Utes Football.  Rae was a joy to be around and had a witty sense of humor.  She was kind and loved by all that knew her.

She is survived by her spouse Thomas F. Bradfield and her children Greg Fullerton, Gayle (Shelli) Fullerton, Kathy (Bryce) Maw, and Jeff (Denise) Fullerton.  She has 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply.  She is also survived by her brother, Kenneth (DonLee) Simkins.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, parents, siblings McLean Simkins, Glenis Orton, Connie Baldwin, Robert Simkins, and Gayle Simkins.

Funeral services were held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Southern Utah Mortuary located at 190 North 300 West, Cedar City.  Viewing was held prior to the service at 9 a.m.  Interment was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.  On-line condolences can be sent to www.sumortuary.com.
