Frank M. Blackburn, age 85, went to be with Jesus on August 28, 2017. He left peacefully with family by his side. Frank was born on December 7, 1931 to Ernest and Hester Molder Blackburn, in Springfield, Illinois.
Frank met and then married the love of his life Lillian Ann Miller on August 26, 1951. From this union came their three boys Kevin, Kyle, and Kelly.
For most of his career, Frank was self-employed as a general contractor together he and his wife Ann grew the business. In his free time, Frank enjoyed the great outdoors, he loved to hunt and fish. One of the biggest joys of his life was serving in the church where he was seen many times teaching the word of God. He was a member of the Grace Christian Church in Parowan, Utah where he loved to serve the Lord.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his son Kyle and grandchildren Toby and Selaina.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Ann, sons Kevin and Kelly and 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday September 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Summit Cemetery. Under the direction of Affordable Funeral Services.
