Charlene B. Harrop, age 69, Parowan, Utah, born November 10, 1948 passed away March 13, 2018. Charlene was born and raised in Parowan, Utah, graduating from Parowan, High School. She married her first husband Clifford Anker and had two daughters Danelle and Melaina. Charlene and Clifford eventually relocated to Salt Lake City Utah. And later divorced. Charlene worked for Granite School District as a secretary. This is where she met her second husband Terry Harrop. When Terry retired from Granite School District, Charlene and Terry relocated to Parowan, Utah. Charlene went to work for Maverick, where she saw everyone in town. Finally she retired from Maverick and enjoyed life in her quaint little town. Charlene was an active member of the LDS Church, volunteered at the senior center and indulged in family life.
She is survived by her daughters Danelle Anker, Melaina (Troy) Youngberg, Best Friend Alicia Ibarra, sister-in-laws Rayma Wozab and Jill Johnson. Brothers/Sister-in-laws David (Deia) Burton, Rex (Christine) Burton, Lawerence Burton, multiple friends and nieces and nephews.
Charlene is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Norma Burton, brother Frank Burton, and husband Terry Harrop.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Parowan 5th Ward building. A viewing was held on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Parowan 5th Ward. On Tuesday the viewing was held at the Church from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will be in the Parowan Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
